Advantage Behavioral Health Services (ABHS) is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality behavioral health care to the individuals, families, and communities we serve across Georgia. This 2024–2027 Strategic Plan reflects our shared vision for growth, excellence, and impact — built on a foundation of community trust, fiscal responsibility, and an unwavering dedication to our workforce and the people in our care. The priorities and activities outlined below represent our roadmap for strengthening how we show up in every community, developing our team, expanding access to care, and demonstrating the meaningful difference our work makes every day.

Increase client engagement through clear, evidence-based education that supports continuity and self-care
Highlight successful client outcomes to attract and retain clients after intake
Integrate peer navigators into psychiatric care to improve support and outcomes
Improve provider access for re-engagement and follow-up appointments
Ensure behavioral health assessments are efficient and accurately identify client needs
Identify reasons clients are not returning to services
Enhance motivation and client empowerment
Incorporate social determinants of health into every course of treatment

Every Community Has the Care It Needs

Improve communication for new clients on the agency website
Develop a more nuanced triage process for needs between crisis and routine care
Make the first-access appointment a positive experience
