We hosted our first "Community Health Fair" on 9/14/22
Our goal was to provide health education & services to Advantage clients, staff and the community in hopes to increase health awareness & provide community resources. ABHS health fair encouraged individuals to engage in healthy behaviors and decisions to support healthier lifestyles. We had 14 vendors to set up informational and screening booths (blood pressure screening, glucose screening, HIV & Hep-C testing, cholesterol screening, nutrition demo’s & samples, fire safety, teen health, women’s health, cancer information, insurance, harm reduction, aging care, etc) . There were over 100 participants (clients, staff, community) who attended the event and walked away with valuable health information and resources.
